Dr Neil Beck's 14 day AlcoChek Pak contains

Dr Neil Beck's 14 day AlcoChek Pak contains the Medications listed in the table above, and 14, 28 and 84 day Paks can be ordered at www.BeatingAlcoholEbook.com and drneilbeck@iinet.net.au.

Each time you finish a bottle of Naltrexone Mixture make up a stronger bottle of mixture by putting 1/2 a tablet more Naltrexone in it than was in the previous bottle, then continue taking 40 mls every 4 hours. Later you can try taking 70 mls 3 times per day, then 100 mls morning and late afternoon. You may then find that it is satisfactory and more convenient to take all of the Naltrexone you need in 1 daily dose. Take it at least 2 hours before the time you previously started drinking Alcohol.

If you have had Opiates in the previous 5 days, nasty Rapid Detox may occur with even 2 mgms of Naltrexone, but Naltrexone and Baclofen do not cause Rapid Detox with Alcohol. You can take Naltrexone and Baclofen while drinking Alcohol or drink Alcohol while taking Baclofen and Naltrexone. Keep taking Naltrexone and Baclofen regardless of your drinking.

As any Alcohol in your body is broken down and excreted by your liver and kidneys Alcohol Receptors in your Brain get left empty and empty Receptors are what cause craving and hanging out. Naltrexone and Baclofen Fill and Satisfy empty Alcohol Receptors which stops craving and Alcohol effects.

If you suffer from "near death" Alcoholism due to large amounts of Alcohol, or have had driver's license, violence, suicide attempts or other serious Alcohol problems, stop Alcohol altogether for at least a year. If you drink moderately too much you may want to get a firm grip on your drinking, but not completely stop. You can do this by taking enough Naltrexone and Baclofen to stop drinking for 2 to 5 days each week, and use smaller amounts to manage Alcohol better on the other days. Your Alcohol Tolerance reduces when you drink less so be careful while you adjust to a lower tolerance.

Always find the Mental Distresses and Malfunctions that drove you to drink such as Sleep problems, Anxiety, ADD, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) etc. They are likely to cause you to relapse unless they are diagnosed and treated effectively. Getting off Alcohol or Drugs is difficult and relapsing is easy until those Underlying Mental Health Disorders have all been diagnosed and successfully treated. To discover what drove you to drink do The Mini DMC at www.DrBecksChecklists.com.

Relapse Prevention

When your Alcohol consumption comes under control prevent relapse by doing 2 things:

1) Do The Mini Checklist every week at www.DrBecksChecklists.com then download your Checklist Report and compare your score for each question with your scores for that question in previous Checklist Reports. Then read again the information about any "Big 7" Mental Health Disorders your Report still shows Signs of. Your Mental Health treatment can then be adjusted to focus on those Signs. When your Checklist Total Score is regularly below 200 you only need to do the Checklist monthly.

2) Keep getting AlcoChek Paks (14 day, 28 day or 12 week paks) and taking the Medications as needed for at least a year. Always carry a few tablets in your wallet or purse to take immediately if you are tempted to binge on Alcohol.

After 12 to 18 months on Naltrexone and Baclofen, when your Checklist Score has been around 150 for several months and your are confident you have beating Alcohol you can gradually wean off your medication.

BUT ALWAYS CARRY A FEW TABLETS OF NALTREXONE AND BACLOFEN IN YOUR WALLET OR PURSE, WRAPPED IN FOIL OR GLADWRAP. WHEREVER YOU GO - ALWAYS. If you are ever tempted to abuse Alcohol again (usually as the result of some stressful event or from meeting old drinking mates) immediately take 1/4 or 1/2 of a Naltrexone tablet and a Baclofen tablet so you are safe again.

If you do ever relapse, try to think and act positively. Quickly get straight back onto Naltrexone and Baclofen.
